Drug Rehab Admissions Surge in 2025

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Bureau of Rehabilitation reports a notable increase in the number of individuals seeking treatment for drug addiction during the current year.

According to the authority, 450 individuals are currently undergoing rehabilitation across three centers operating under its supervision.

These centers collectively have the capacity to accommodate 1,120 individuals, and as of now, 670 spaces remain available for new admissions.
