COLOMBO (News 1st) - Turkish Ambassador Semith Lutfu Turgut met with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and conveyed Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's greetings to his Sri Lankan counterpart.
In his congratulatory message, President Erdoğan expressed hope that President Dissanayake's initiatives would promote peace and prosperity for all Sri Lankans while enhancing national unity.
During their discussions, the Ambassador and President Dissanayake explored opportunities to deepen cooperation in tourism, employment, and trade.
The Ambassador highlighted the increasing demand for migrant labor in Turkey, assuring that new job opportunities for Sri Lankans would be created across various sectors in the near future.
