Rohan De Lanerolle Clinches Triple Honors at Commonwealth Business Excellence Awards

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's Rohan De Lanerolle Snr clinched three major awards at the Commonwealth Business Excellence Awards held in South Africa. 

Rohan, an inventor from Sri Lanka won the awards for Sustainable Innovator of the Year, Engineering Innovator of the Year, and Male Innovator of the Year.

The Commonwealth Business Excellence Awards was held on 17th August 2024 at the Emperor’s Palace in Johannesburg, South Africa.

This pioneering invention has allowed Sri Lanka to convert 38 Constanta machines, including those used by India’s top tea brands.

In addition, Rohan De Lanerolle Snr and his technical team have successfully converted 12 machines for Sri Lankan Tea Export companies, revolutionizing the tea industry.
