Train accident in Enderamulla kills father and daughter

COLOMBO (News 1st); Two people have died in a train accident in Enderamulla.

Police say that the accident occurred this morning when the car they were in collided with the night mail train travelling from Badulla to Colombo Fort at the Enderamulla railway crossing.

A 54-year-old man resident of Biyagama and a 34-year-old woman, lost their lives in the accident.

The railway control room said that the train running on the main line will be delayed due to the accident.
