Sri Lanka Tri Forces Mobilize for Potential Flood Response

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Sri Lanka Navy, Air Force, and Army are all actively preparing for potential flood emergencies.

42 teams comprising over 150 Navy personnel are ready to be deployed in flood-affected areas.

Three aircraft stationed at Ratmalana, Katunayake, and Hingurakgoda are prepared for rescue operations.

A specialized rescue team is also on standby with the aircraft.

Army Troops have been put on high alert in all districts to respond quickly to any flood situation.
