Expressway Revenue exceeds Rs 150 mn during festive season

Colombo (News 1st); The revenue generated by Expressways during the Sinhala and Tamil New Year season has exceeded 150 million rupees.

Director General of the Expressway Operation and Maintenance Division R.I.D. Kahatapitiya says a 150, 982, 950 rupees was earned between the 10th and 13th of April.

The revenue generated on Saturday, the 13 the was 24,676,400 rupees.

The Director General said that approximately 4.3 million vehicles used the Expressway Network during the festive season.
