Expression of Interest called for Jaffna Airport

COLOMBO (News1st); The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Aviation said Expression Of Interest is called from local and foreign investors for the Jaffna International Airport.
Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva said further measures will be taken after selecting a suitable investor.
The Minister further said the proposal to transfer operations of the Mattala Airport to two Indian and Russian companies was forwarded to the Ministry of Finance, after submitting the relevant proposal to the Cabinet.
