Environment Ministry in President's charge by way of Extraordinary Gazette

COLOMBO (News 1st); An extraordinary gazette notification has been issued stating that the Ministerial Portfolio of Environment should be in the President’s charge.
The gazette was issued by Secretary to the President E. M. S. B. Ekanayake.
The extraordinary gazette notification states that the President, having consulted with the Prime Minister, has determined that the Ministerial Portfolio of Environment should be in his charge.
