Avissawella - Colombo Low Level Road closed from 10pm on Saturday (06) to 5pm on Sunday (07)

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The section from the Wellampitiya junction to the Kotikawatta junction along the Colombo-Avissawella Low Level road, will be closed from on Saturday (06) to 5pm on Sunday (07), due to an essential maintenance activity of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board. 

During this time period, vehicles traveling from Avissawella to Colombo can turn left from the Kotikawatta Junction, pass Gothatuwa and Kolonnawa, and enter the Baseline road or enter the Avissawella road through the Kolonnawa Junction. 

The road development authority says that vehicles traveling from Colombo to Avissawella can turn right near the Wellampitiya police station, turn left from the Gothatuwa town, and enter the Avissawella road through the Kotikawatte Junction.
