A fire has broken out at the Methsiri Sewana building in the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital

COLOMBO (News 1st);  A fire broke out on the third floor of the methsiri sewana building at the Anuradhapura teaching hospital today. 

The hospital's director has attributed a technical malfunction on the solar power generation system as the cause of the fire. 

15 patients were in the building when the fire broke out, all of them who were respiratory patients. 

According to the anuradhapura fire brigade no injuries have been reported and the fire was doused.
