17 Sri Lankans in Gaza Strip to be moved to Egypt - Sri Lankan Ambassador to Israel

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lankan Ambassador to Israel Nimal Bandara said measures are being taken to move the 17 Sri Lankans who are in the Gaza Strip to Egypt.

He said the group of Sri Lankans are currently traveling with the Palestinians from the North to the South.

Nimal Bandara said efforts are being taken to ensure the safety of Sri Lankans, despite the ongoing war.

The Ambassador said a program is being formulated with the Embassies of Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon for this purpose.
