COLOMBO (News 1st) – The government has implemented a plan to issue driving licenses that were unable to be issued previously through a third party. The Department of Motor Traffic says that all actions to gain cabinet approval in this regard have been taken. The Department further says that 850,000 driving licenses will be printed and issued to license holders through a third party. The Department further says that only driving licenses that were unable to be issued previously will be issued within the next 6 to 7 months.
