COLOMBO (News 1st); Judicial Medical Officer at the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital Rohan T. Ruwanpura said that the preliminary post-mortem examination of businessman Dinesh Schaffter was completed.

The Judicial Medical Officer told News 1st that further examinations on the body are underway.

He added that it would take over two months to issue a final report of the post-mortem.

He said that the report of the preliminary post-mortem examination will be handed over to the Police.

The body of Dinesh Schaffter was exhumed under judicial supervision on Thursday (25) based on the request made to the court by the Committee of Medical Experts appointed to investigate the death of the late businessman.
