COLOMBO (News 1st): Former Sri Lanka Cricket President Shammi Silva was elected uncontested as the President of Sri Lanka Cricket for the term 2023 to 2025.

The SLC election to elect seven office-bearers for the upcoming term was held on Saturday morning (May 20), at the 62nd Annual General Meeting of Sri Lanka Cricket.  

Shammi Silva’s election marks his 3rd term in office as the President of Sri Lanka Cricket, and the 2nd time, being elected uncontested.

Ravin Wickramarathne and Jayantha Dharmadasa were elected to the post of Vice President, while Mohan de Silva was elected as the Secretary of SLC for the 2023 – 2025 term.
