Colombo (News 1st) - Pope Francis has taken a decision to allow women to vote for the first time in a synod - a special conference of bishops at which laypersons can also participate, the Vatican announced.
Fifty percent of the laypersons at the synod would be women, who would have the right to vote along with the male laypersons and the bishops.
