COLOMBO (News 1st); The Professionals' Trade Union Collective says that they will be intensifying their trade union action against the government's new tax policy, from this week. 

This decision has been reached due to the fact that the discussion planned to be held with the President regarding the tax policy has not yet taken place.

Representing the Professionals' Trade Union Collective, Secretary of the Government Medical Officers' Association Dr. Haritha Aluthge warns not to underestimate the sacrifices of professionals.
