COLOMBO (News 1st) – The Nugegoda Magistrate's Court has issued an order against the Convener of the Inter University Students' Federation Wasantha Mudalige, Convener of the Inter University Bhikku Federation Ven. Galwewa Siridhamma Thero and others preventing them from engaging in protests or marches that disturb the public.

The order was issued after the Mirihana Police Inspector presented facts to the Nugegoda Magistrate's Court.

The order however does not prevent peaceful protests from taking place.
