Inflation drops to below 60% in December 2022; Food Inflation also drops to 64.4%

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The overall rate of inflation measured by the Colombo Consumer Price Index for December 2022 was 57.2%, compared to 61% for November 2022, said the Department of Census and Statistics.

In addition Food Inflation dropped to 64.4% in December 2022, from 73.7% in November 2022.
