COLOMBO (News 1st) – The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said the water supply will be interrupted for 10 hours on Saturday (10) to several areas.

The water cut will be in effect from 10.00 AM to 8.00 PM on Saturday (10).

The areas that will be affected are:

Colombo, Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia, Kotte, Kaduwela Municipal Council areas.

Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa, Kolonnawa Urban Council areas

Kotikawatta, Mulleriyawa, Pradeshiya Sabha areas

Ratmalana, and Katubedda

NWSDB urged the people to gather the necessary water in advance to avoid inconveniences.

Further, NWSDB said that the water supply will be interrupted due to the essential repairs on the pipes supplying water to the Ambatale Water Purification Plant.
