COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Colombo Stock Market made upward gains on the opening day of the week (5).

The All-Share Price Index closed on 8,834.75 points up by 0.84%.

The S&P SL20 Index closed on 2,809.49 points up by 1.25%.

The total share volume was 111,291,625.

The market turnover was Rs. 2,935,667,689.20
