COLOMBO (News 1st) – Roozbah Cheshmi & Ramin Rezaeian scored injury time goals for Iran to defeat Wales 2-0 at the FIFA World Cup.

The game at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium in Ar-Rayyan was about to end in another draw.

Wales goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey was sent off for a karate kick foul against Iran.

The Nottingham Forest shot-stopper came flying out of his area and mistimed his attempt to beat Mehdi Taremi to the ball.

However, Cheshmi found the net in overtime as Wales was handicapped by goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey being sent off with a red card. 

Just three minutes later, Ramin Rezaeian found the net to put Iran up by two goals.
