Young woman gunned down in Vavuniya

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A 21-year-old woman was shot dead in Shiva Nagar in Vavuniya on Tuesday (18) night.
Sri Lanka Police said that the killer had waited in hiding near her house, and committed the murder, and thereafter fled the scene.
A suspect is yet to be arrested and the body was moved to the Vavuniya Hospital morgue for the post-mortem examination.
