COLOMBO (News 1st) – The Ministry of Health says that there is still a shortage of 110 types of essential medicines in the country.

The Director of Medical Technological Services at the Ministry of Health Dr. Anwar Hamdani said that patient care services are maintained by managing the shortage of medicines.

Further, he said that several new programs are to be implemented to prevent the shortage of medicine.
