Fuel Distributors' Association to step away from Tuesday (4)

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Fuel Distributors' Association says that it will step away from placing orders for fuel from 8 AM on Tuesday (4)

This is in protest against the decision taken by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation to recover the 45% discounts awarded to Fuel Distributors.

Kapila Naotunna, the Secretary of the association said that they will refrain from placing orders against this move. 

The Private Tanker Owners Association said that it will only deliver fuel stocks that have already been ordered.
