COLOMBO (News 1st) – A 29-year old woman was killed during a shootout in Danovita early Sunday (2) morning .

Police said that a woman who was traveling in a bus was shot when a group who had come to rob a liquor store were about to be arrested.

Later, she died upon admission to the Wathupitiwala hospital.

Two others were injured in the incident.
