COLOMBO (News 1st) – The Ministry of Power and Energy says that payments have been made for the vessel containing a petrol shipment anchored in the Colombo Port.

According to the Authorities, the vessel is carrying 36,000 MT of fuel.

However, another two vessels carrying diesel and another vessel with a petrol shipment have been anchored at the Colombo port due to the NON-payments.

Further, the Ministry adds that the basic payments were made for a crude oil ship that is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka next November.
