President's House: Archaeology probe complete

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Department of Archeology has completed the investigation into the President's House, which was occupied by the protesters on 9th June 2022.

The Department said it would hand over the report to the Police as soon as possible.

The Department of Archeology further said that during the investigations special attention was paid to the structure of the President's House, and the historic artifacts, and paintings that were placed there.

In the meantime, the Department of Archeology added that reports have been given to the Police on its inquiry into Temple Trees and the Prime Minister's Office.
