Sri Lanka calls for short-term bids for Coal Supply

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekara says to secure the short-term requirement of Coal Supply, a Spot Tender has been advertised following the International Competitive Bidding method.

He said the process has been opened for registered suppliers & any other supplier capable of supplying the requirement with a minimum 180-day credit facility. 

Further, he added that a long Term Tender for Coal Procurement will be advertised by next week.
