Sri Lanka pays for 41,000 MT of Diesel

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) said that it made a payment for a shipment of 41,000 MT of Diesel.

The shipment reached Sri Lanka on the 7th of September 2022.

In the meantime, the CPC further noted that the unloading of a petrol shipment will commence on Thursday (22) evening.

Moreover, the Corporation said that payments have been made to the Crude oil vessel scheduled to arrive in the country in November.

There are sufficient reserves in the country, CPC adds.
