Medicine Shortage: Hospital receiving new stocks

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Ministry of Health says that the medicines ordered for the hospitals are currently being received.
The Secretary of the Ministry of Health Janaka Sri Chandragupta said that despite the shortage of medicine, the operations at hospitals have not been hampered.
The Director of the National Hospital Dr. Kumara Liyanage said that although there were several shortages, the surgeries are being carried out as usual.
Also, he said that the medicines that were in short supply are being received.
