Dates for Scholarship examination & A/Ls unchanged: Exam Dept

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Commissioner General of Examinations, L. M. D. Dharmasena says that there will be no change in the scheduled dates for the Grade 05 Scholarship Examination and the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination.
 
In an announcement, the Examination Department hsa notified that exams will be held in parallel with the school schedule for the year 2022.

Accordingly, the grade 5 scholarship examination will be held on December 4th as previously planned.

The Commissioner General of Examinations further stated that the G.C.E. A/Ls will be held from December 5th to January 2nd.

Moreover, the department said that if the two examinations will be postponed, the active number of schooling dates will have to be changed in relation to the amended schedule, so other examinations including the upcoming 2022 G.C.E Ordinary Level Examination will also have to be postponed.

The Commissioner General of Examinations additionally informed that all candidates should be ready to appear for the examinations on the relevant dates.
