Settle bills or lose water supply: Warning to MPs

COLOMBO (News 1st); The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) says that they have received instructions to discontinue the water supply to the houses of parliamentarians who are NOT paying water bills.

The Deputy General Manager of the Commercial Division Piyal Padmanatha said that the list of the names of the MPs whose bills have not been settled will be informed to the Speaker today (15).

The non-payment of water bills by MPs has cost the National Water Supply and Drainage Board over Rs. 3 Million.
