Lawyers point out "Economy killers"

COLOMBO (News 1st); The 'Lawyers of the Aragalaya' said that two more names need to be added to the list of "Economy Killers", and emphasized that they were the reason for the economy for the country to arrive at its current position.

The convener of the organization, Attorney-at-Law Manoj Nanayakkara said that the implementation of unsustainable projects in Sri Lanka led to its current situation, in addition to the political leadership, which should be held accountable for the country's current fate.

Pointing out that 5 names have come up in this regard; Former Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa, forme CBSL Governors Ajith Nivard Cabraal and W.D. Lakshman, and former President's Secretaries P.B. Jayasundera and S.R. Atygalle, Lakshman, the 'Lawyers of the Aragalaya' stressed that former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and former Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa should also have been included in the same.
