Rapid increase in overseas job seekers - SLBFE

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment says that there is a rapid increase in Sri Lankans' demand for foreign jobs.

The Spokesperson of the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment Deputy General Manager Gamini Senarath Yapa said that 208,772 Sri Lankans have registered with the Bureau for foreign employment and left during the year so far.

He further said that 2,885 Sri Lankans have left for work in South Korea so far this year.
