Decision on Wheat Flour Prices today (5)

COLOMBO (News 1st); Minister of Trade, Commerce, and Food Security Nalin Fernando says a final decision on the price of wheat flour in the local market will be made on Monday (5). 

The Minister says the new prices are currently being evaluated. 

He further says he will also meet with bakery owners today (5) to discuss the prices of bread.

The Minister has also instructed the Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) to obtain a report from wheat flour manufacturers regarding the price of wheat flour being sold to the consumer.
