Associate of "Kudu Salindu" arrested

COLOMBO (News 1st); One of the main associates of Salidu alias Panadura "Kudu Salidu" who is involved in many organized crimes and large-scale drug trafficking has been arrested.

Accordingly, police said that a 40-year-old man who was in possession of a sword with intent to commit murder was arrested in Wadduwa area.

The arrested suspect was identified as a person who has been previously convicted of possessing a live grenade and has been fined by the court and was subsequently released on bail.

He is also a suspect who has been released on bail after being imprisoned for killing a person by firing a T-56 firearm.

The police said that he was previously incarcerated for possession of heroin and various charges and was last released on bail about 02 months ago.
