Yuan Wang's research activities are consistent with Int'l law: Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Wang Wenbin stresses that the marine scientific research activities of the Yuanwang-5 ship are consistent with international law and international customary practice. 

Speaking to media, the Spokesperson stated that China feels deeply for the economic and social difficulties facing Sri Lanka at the moment, as Sri Lanka's friendly neighbour.

Moreover, Spokesperson Wang Wenbin said that China has been doing its utmost to support and help Sri Lanka pull through the difficulties, which it will continue to do in the future as well.
