Breakdown in Norochcholai Unit 1

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera announced that there has been a breakdown in Unit 1 of the Norochcholai Power Plant. 

"Technical staff is working to identify the fault. Unit 2 is undergoing scheduled maintenance work. Unit 3 will continue to operate," he tweeted.

The Minister said that West Coast & other Fuel Power Plants will be used to manage the supply.
