Will NOT sit and Govern with bandits: Vijitha Herath

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Propaganda Secretary to the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna, Vijitha Herath on Thursday (11) said that what the Rajapaksas has done is appoint someone to drive their garbage truck, and to appoint the driver's classmate as the Prime Minister.

Alleging that the new Cabinet is made out of the same old thieves, the JVP MP said that a new structure called the All-Party Government has ben appointed to push this garbage truck around.

"People voted for Gotabaya Rajapaksa because they rejected Ranil Wickremesinghe, who robbed the central bank and tried to sell our country off to the MCC agreement. He couldn't even prevent the Easter Sunday Attacks. Are they all not hypocrites?" he demanded.

Herath further stated that President Wickremesinghe made the All-Party Government to display his prowess to the world, and others are receiving letters to join this government.

"Is this what the protestors at Galle Face ? They didn't carry out all those protests so we could sit and govern with bandits," Herath explained.
