COLOMBO (News 1st); The President of the Arab Republic of Egypt has congratulated Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe.

The Egyptian President said that Wickremesinghe's election refelects the confidence in his ability to lead the country forwards towards further prgress and prosperity.
