Private Bus Owners strike called off

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ceylon Private Bus Owners' Association says that the strike which was initiated in protest of the fuel quota allocated via the QR code system has been called off.

Meanwhile, the General Secretary of the All Ceylon Private Bus Owners' Union Federation, Anjana Priyanjith stated that his union has also decided to call off the strike.

Due to the strike initiated by several private bus associations, many commuters faced severe hardships throughout the day.
