Rs. 29 Mn worth Meth Pills seized by Customs

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Customs personnel at the Central Mail Exchange discovered Rs. 29 Million worth of Methamphetamine Pills from a parcel sent from the Netherlands to an address in Ganemulla.

Sri Lanka Customs said that the parcel contained a foot massager, and upon inspection of the device Customs Agents discovered 2,973 Methamphetamine Pill concealed inside.

The street value of the drugs is over Rs. 29.73 Million.

After carrying out the investigation, the drugs were handed over to the Narcotics Bureau of the Sri Lanka Police for further investigation.
