Wajira takes oath as National List MP

COLOMBO (News 1st): UNP Chairman former Minister Wajira Abeywardena took oaths as a National List MP in Parliament on Wednesday (27).

He took oaths to the Parliamentary Seat left vacant after Ranil Wickremesinghe was elected as the President.

In addition, Minister (Dr) Susil Premajayantha was appointed as the Leader of the House, and Prasanna Ranatunga was appointed as the Chief Government Whip.
