COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ceylon Petroleum Company says that NO permission has been granted yet to release fuel for cans, bowls and other vessels.
The CPC said that it will be taking legal action against all those who attempt to collect fuel in cans and other vessels.
The CPC also said that they are taking steps to distribute 4,000 MT of diesel daily throughout the island.
The company mentioned that it will take steps to distribute 3,000 MT of petrol all over the island as well.
Accordingly, the Petroleum Storage Terminal Company stated that 4,000 metric tons of diesel and 3,000 metric tons of gasoline were distributed all over the island today.
