Energy Minister introduces mobile fuel dispensers

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Minister of Energy, Kanchana Wijesekara says that a mobile fuel dispenser program will be initiated in the near future.

Accordingly, these mobile fuel dispensers will be used as a pilot project to refuel three wheelers and to fulfill generator requirements.

In a tweet, the Minister said that these fuel truck dispensers will be used in large open spaces away from the fuel stations for three wheelers, delivery motorbikes and cans.

The Minister yesterday (16) took steps to introduce a fuel pass system accompanied by a QR code for better facilitation of fuel distribution.
