COLOMBO (News 1st); The Department of Meteorology announced that showers will occur at times in Sabaragamuwa province and in Nuwara-Eliya and Kandy districts.

Several spells of showers will occur in the Western province and Galle and Matara districts.

Strong winds of about (40-50) kmph can be expected at times in the Western slopes of the Central hills and the Northern, North-central, and North-western provinces and in Trincomalee and Hambantota districts.
