COLOMBO (News 1st); The Diplomatic Service of the European Union has issued a statement, mentioning that the EU is following the developments in Sri Lanka closely.
The EU has called on all parties to cooperate and focus on a peaceful, democratic and orderly transition.
Moreover, the EU states that it is the responsibility of all party leaders to pave way to a solution to the current crisis and return back to normalcy.
Accordingly, the EU says that it is assessing the available options to further step up its support to Sri Lanka’s population.
