Postal Services limited to three-days a week

COLOMBO (News 1st); All postal services have been restricted to three days.

Post-Master General Ranjith Ariyaratne said that all post and sub-post offices will be open only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

The offices will be open from 8.00 AM to 4.00 PM on the relevant days, said the Post Master General.

The Post Master General further said that these steps were taken because of the transportation difficulties that have arisen in the face of the fuel crisis in the country.

He noted that in the current situation, the distribution of letters may also be limited.
