Bangladesh HC meets President; Discusses cooperation

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Bangladesh High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Tarek Ariful Islam said that it is the time to strengthen economic cooperation between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
The High Commissioner called on President Gotabaya Rajapaksa in Colombo on Thursday (23).
The Bangladesh High Commissioner to Sri Lanka pointed out that cooperation could lead to progress in many areas, including apparel, agriculture, health, and investment.
The President also appreciated Bangladesh's support in the current economic crisis.
