(Video) Hirunika leads protest against Prime Minister

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Samagi Vanitha Balawegaya protested opposite the Prime Minister's private residence in Colombo on Wednesday (22) morning.

As the protest was about to kick-off, Sri Lanka Police decided to block 5th Avenue located down Flower Road, Colombo leading to the residence of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.

As the protest continued, led by Former MP Hirunika Premachandra, police presence also increased in the areas.

Thereafter, the protestors referred to the Prime Minister as Ranil Rajapaksa, instead of Ranil Wickremesinghe.
